Knocknagoshel Halloween group hosts a yearly ghost trail which commences adjacent to the village church and continues along the Well Road. The ghost trail began in 1994 and was originally designed to cater for the local children but as the years progressed it's popularity grew and by 2009 there were thousand's of people from every corner of Ireland attending the festival.
This year was the 25th anniversary of the festival. There is a big community spirit around this event. Locals young and old gather to put the ghost trail together and to dismantle and clean up afterwords. The takings from the night are distributed amongst local clubs and charities.
