Knocknagoshel is a village in northeast Co.Kerry. We are famously remembered in Irish history for the banner carried by local men at a rally addressed by Charles Stewart Parnell in Newcastle, West in 1891, 'Arise Knocknagoshel and take your place among the nations of the earth'.
Each year we celebrate Pattern Day on August 15th. On this day the village comes alive with races, donkey derby, music and lots more entertainment.
We have great facilities around the village, including:supermarket, church, football pitch, gym and community centre. Our school is in the heart of the village.
